Access tank covers, types C, O and R.

Application

The Type C, Type O and Type R stainless steel manhole covers are used on tanks or containers including bottling and washing machines. The products are suited for a wide range of sanitary applications such as wine, other beverages, dairy and foodstuffs. They are designed to fit where a closeable mean of access to the interior of the vessel, situated above or below the liquid level, is required. To fit various requests the cover comes in oval, circular and rectangular shape.

Working principle

Open the cover by loosening the handle. This range includes covers with various openings. For inspection purposes there are covers with inwards opening. If it is necessary to physically enter the tank there are covers with outwards and/or side-swing openings.

Installation

In order to obtain a perfect seal and correct function, it is essential that the frame is welded carefully and correctly. After welding always control that the sealing is in full contact with the sealing surface.

Options

• - Relief valves are available separately - cannot be ordered mounted on the cover (please see ordering leaflet).
• - Seal of Natural rubber.
